March 16, 2014 Letter

Hi family,

Well it sounds like the busy life continues. It sounds like the triplets are in the hands of a very good doctor. I am glad to hear that. I am sorry to hear about Jaclyn and Justins baby. They will be in my prayers. We are very blessed to have the knowledge that Rosie will go straight to the Celestial Kingdom.

Happy birthday this week to Ryan and Avery! How big is Avery now? Is she walking, talking, and beating up Jaxson yet?

Mom I did get the birthday card that you sent me. Thank you very much! I love getting mail. Also the weather here is starting to cool down some. I would say it has been anywhere between mid 20's to mid 30's. So it is still warm but not too bad.

Well we had a little bit of ups and downs this week. Unfortunately Noel's baptism did not happen this Saturday. It is a long story. He is struggling with his farm a lot because there is a drought over here. It has been very hot and not much rain lately. He is pretty worried and isn't quite prepared to keep all the commandments. He still came to church this Sunday though which was really good! We are going to continue working with him. We have seen miracles in other areas though. We had 6 of our investigators at church this week! Noel was there of course, but then we had another investigator named Tara come and the Byamungu family also came. Tara is scheduled to be baptized next Saturday March 29th. So we are hoping all goes well with this one.

That is pretty amazing that some of you got to hear from Jeffery R. Holland. Sounds like it was quite the Spiritual experience. We are so blessed to have apostles and prophets on the earth today to help guide us and to help us know what we need to be doing now. I know that if we follow what they say, we will never go astray. We can partake of the peace and the happiness that comes from the Gospel not only in this life, but in the eternities. This Gospel is true! Never doubt it. I am so grateful for the chance I have to be serving the Lord full time. I love being a missionary! As a missionary you come across people with a lot of different struggles. But I know that if we endure our trials faithfully, He will bless us more than we can imagine. I love you all! You are in my prayers. Have a great week!

Elder Low
